In a year filled with uncertainty and social distancing, we are focusing our efforts on some of what we do best: helping our community to create their own connections to Jewish life and local food! We have brought together dozens of pairs of gardening buddies through our Jewish Volunteer Gardening Brigade, enabling experienced gardeners to serve as mentors to new gardeners, building new gardens and new relationships at a time when many of us find ourselves weary from distancing. We have developed the first two in a series of holiday boxes, delivered directly to you — with activities that weave together Jewish tradition with sustainable living and food systems.
