(Belated) Tu B’shvat celebration of local trees
February 10, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
What’s in season in New England for Tu B’shvat? Maple syrup!
Join us for this fun, educational annual event for all ages!
Tu B’shvat is traditionally a time to asses our fields and fruit trees. Led by the Land’s Sake and Beantown Jewish Gardens educators, we’ll explore the sugaring process, from tree-tapping, wood splitting, boiling to bottling. Making local maple syrup is highly weather dependent, so our exact activities will be determined closer to the program date. Be prepared to be outside.
