Temple Israel of Boston

Temple Israel of Boston

In partnership with Temple Israel of Boston, we have launched our first Beantown Jewish Garden in their backyard. On the site of their Biblical Garden, next to the playground, we installed 5 raised beds, growing vegetables and teaching. We appreciate the donations of seedlings from Lands Sake Farm and Waltham Community Fields.

On Nov. 7th, the Monday Night School “Judaism and Agriculture” class planted garlic:

In August we co-hosted “Harvest ‘N Tonics” with the Riverway Project. More information is here.

We hosted Tuesday nights in the Garden from June 21-July 26 from 6:30-8:00pm. We weeded, staked and harvested our 5 raised beds.
